12 new teams in Bulgarian accelerator Eleven

Bulgarian accelerator Eleven is, many would agree, one of the greatest supporter for regional early strage startups. They have just annonced 12 new teams that have entered in the 8th batch of this accelerator which makes total of 95 teams funded.

Although focused mainly on tech startups, this time around Eleven is venturing offline quite seriously with its first apparel, second healthy food and one sanitary ware company.

Start Trek tour organized by Eleven and its partners is visiting 6 CEE capitals

Eleven Accelerator and its partners host 6 local events in the major startup cities in CEE as part of their annual tour Start Trek and bring along inspiring entrepreneurs, investors and partners from all over Europe including David Scanlon (Enterprise Ireland), Lorcan O’Sullivan (Start in Ireland), George Dita (How to Web), Lucie Montel (Rainmaking Loft) and Salim Virani (Founder Centric.)

In in 12 days StartTrek will visit Istanbul, Bucharest, Belgrade, Podgorica, Zagreb and Sofia. The mission of Start Trek is to inspire the local startup communities and empower community leaders from all over Europe and the event format is more developed than previous year – there will be a pitching session, lectures, workshop and networking.

11 Serbian startups in Bulgarian Accelerator Eleven, raised 760.000€ so far

Bulgarian accelerator Eleven is, many would agree, great supporter for regional early strage startups. In Serbia, which for years lacks any institutional support for startups, this fund is very important player in the life of the ecosystem.

In the last batch, another three teams were accepted into this accelerator, which creates a symbolic number – 11 startups in Eleven.

Welcome Silicon Gardens, new regional fund!

New angel investment fund in this area are great news for the region. More importantly – fund has been created by entrepreneurs that started off from Slovenia and made international boom and successful exit stories.

Warrantly is the first Serbian startup in Prague accelerator Startup Yard

Warrantly, web service which moves your warranties online, received an investment from Czech accelerator Startup Yard, member of Techstars global network. Besides 10.000 € investment, team will spend three months in Prague with provided accomodation.

It can be said that three founders have been waiting for an investment for a log time, considering that they started pitching last April. But, it is important to know that none of them was focused solely on the development of this startup, but developed it after work. By entering Startup Yard they will finally dedicate their full time to this project.
