Seedcamp Zagreb winner revealed – it’s Poq Studio from London

It’s been more than two months since Seedcamp in Zagreb and yesterday we found out which of the 20 companies got the investment. It is the London-based Poq Studio, a mobile ecommerce platform for fashion products.

Poq Studio makes it possible for small and medium fashion retailers to sell their products and reach their customers on smartphone platforms in an easy and engaging manner.

‘Seedcamp is like a $100.000 in consulting’

One of the main components of all Seedcamp events, including the one recently held in Zagreb are the mentoring sessions.

During these the mentors are divided into groups and then go from startup to startup and give counsel and ask them hard questions, so as to help them develop their products and businesses.

Startups can get a lot of value from these sessions as one of the participants tweeted, whom we quoted for the title of this article.

Seedcamp Zagreb attracts 19 startups to the capital of Croatia

Seedcamp is in Zagreb for the second time in it’s fourth visit to this region, the other two having taken place in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

The presence of Seedcamp in SEE is a considerable benefit to the startups of the region which can receive valuable feedback and connect with startups and mentors from all over Europe. A number of regional startups had already joined Seedcamp’s ranks, namely Zemanta, vox.io, Farmeron, Oust.me and GIS Cloud.
