Eleven Accelerator and its partners host 6 local events in the major startup cities in CEE as part of their annual tour Start Trek and bring along inspiring entrepreneurs, investors and partners from all over Europe including David Scanlon (Enterprise Ireland), Lorcan O’Sullivan (Start in Ireland), George Dita (How to Web), Lucie Montel (Rainmaking Loft) and Salim Virani (Founder Centric.)
In in 12 days StartTrek will visit Istanbul, Bucharest, Belgrade, Podgorica, Zagreb and Sofia. The mission of Start Trek is to inspire the local startup communities and empower community leaders from all over Europe and the event format is more developed than previous year – there will be a pitching session, lectures, workshop and networking.
Each local event includes a pitching session for local startups, inspirational talks from foreign and local community leaders, workshops, one-on-one mentoring sessions with the speakers, and ends with networking drinks.
If you decide to pitch at any of the local events, you should apply 2 days before the event. The startups that get chosen to present their business on stage will get instant feedback from experienced investors and some of them even an invite to Eleven’s Selection Days in November 2014, when the fund chooses its next investees.

September 29 – Istanbul at Avantgarde Levent Hotel
October 2 – Bucharest at TechHub
October 4 – Belgrade at KC Grad
October 6 – Podgorica at Hotel Ramada
October 8 – Zagreb at Technical Museum
October 11 – Sofia at Sofia Event Center as part of NEXT
